The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) is considered to be one of the top sources for safety ratings and information on vehicles for drivers. And the Top Safety Pick and Top Safety Pick Plus ratings from the IIHS are some of the most prestigious accolades for a new vehicle to earn as well. These awards let drivers know which areas of the vehicle are designed the best with high standards for safety, as well as details on safety technologies that the vehicle is equipped with.
