Some of the best memories of our lives are made during road trips. Flying is great and convenient, but there’s nothing like a long trip with a great playlist with your friends and family. 3 tips to make packing for a road trip easier

Don’t overpack

Make sure you only bring the essentials with you. It can be very easy to think you need more than you actually do. Properly count out the number of shirts you’ll need, don’t take too many toiletries, and forget any of the extra stuff. If you wear makeup, only bring the basics! By keeping what you pack to a minimum, you will give yourself more room in the car and make the ride more comfortable. You will also have fewer things to keep track of.

Use duffle bags instead of suitcases aerial view of crowded highway

Duffle bags and backpacks can hold just as much as regular suitcases and they’re flexible. This means you can cram them into tighter spots, and they will take up less room. Depending on what you pack, you can easily fold a duffle bag or even put it under a seat if you need to.

Keep snacks within reach

You’re bound to get hungry during your drive. Don’t stop every couple hours to get fast food. Keep a small cooler with chips, fruits, drinks, and whatever else you want to munch on along the way. Of course, if you’re the driver, don’t eat while the car is in motion, please! These are some pretty simple tips but they should help make your next road trip a little easier!
