The Redesigned 2019 Kia K900
Kia has been very busy with announcing their new 2019 model year lineup recently, and one of the more notable models to make its debut is the redesigned 2019 Kia K900. With a more luxurious style, the new K900 is bringing exactly what drivers want in a classy sedan.
“Our designers and engineers have done an extraordinary job of reimagining the K900 to fully meet the needs and desires of consumers shopping in the luxury sedan segment with the promise of a tremendous value proposition that only Kia can deliver.” – Orth Hedrick, vice president, Product Planning, KMA
The Luxurious Design of the 2019 Kia K900
Exterior
With redesigned proportions, the 2019 Kia K900 actually looks fairly ‘tight’ despite being slightly longer and wider than the previous model. The Kia designers took inspiration from a theme called “The Gravity of Prestige” as they worked to make the K900 more stately and sophisticated. Which leads into the new “Quadric pattern” signature grille that acts as the focal point. It then flows smoothly into the lines and shape of the front fascia and hood, carrying over into the rest of the sedan.
Interior
Although the new K900 is more luxurious than previous generations, the cabin is still a simple, modern design that emphasizes passenger comfort. In fact, every line of the interior is virtually uninterrupted, creating a sense of continuity that wraps around the driver. And the surfaces are trimmed in a combination of materials, including metal veneers and a choice of open pore matte wood—Walnut, Brown Olive Ash, Beige Olive Ash and Engineered Wood. Which match nicely with the naturally-colored leather options: Black, Beige, Espresso Brown or the two-toned Sienna Brown.
